GLP-1

What's in my GLP-1 shipment and what to expect?

Updated Sep 21, 2026From the Belle care team

Your GLP-1 shipment arrives in insulated packaging with ice packs, and contains your medication vial or vials, the syringes matched to your prescribed doses, and alcohol wipes.

Melted ice packs are normal and do not mean anything happened to your medication — the insulated packaging is designed to protect it even after the ice has melted. Move your medication to the refrigerator as soon as it arrives. If you'd like to double check, message us and we'll confirm your shipment stayed within the pharmacy's safe temperature range. It almost always does.

When it arrives

Check that the vial is intact and the label has your name and medication on it. The solution is normally clear to slightly yellow, though this varies by formulation. If the vial is damaged or leaking, if the solution looks cloudy or has particles in it, or if the vial arrived frozen, do not use it. Contact us and we'll sort it out with you.

Finding your dosing instructions

Please don't throw away the box, bottle, or any packaging until you've found your dosing instructions and confirmed you received everything listed above. Your dosing instructions are printed on your medication's packaging — you can also view and verify your dose anytime in your Belle patient portal. If you're starting a new vial, confirm its concentration and unit dose match your current prescription before you begin.

Why your vial might look different from last time

Vial size, color, and the number on the label can change between shipments without anything being wrong. See "Why does my medication look different or require a different syringe?" and "Dose vs concentration: why your vial says a bigger number".

Supplies

Your syringe count matches your prescribed dosing schedule. If you run out, message the care team. See "What if I run out of syringes?".
