How to read your syringe
- Line spacing depends on the syringe. On a 100-unit (1 mL) syringe each line is 2 units, with a number every 10 units. On 50-unit (0.5 mL) and 30-unit (0.3 mL) syringes each line is 1 unit, with a number every 5 units.
- Read the dose at the top edge of the rubber stopper, the edge closest to the needle, not at the bottom of the stopper or the end of the plunger.
- Check that the syringe in your hand matches the size you picked above. The same number of units sits in a different spot on each size.
