Belle Cares · October · Women's Health Month

Let's close the gap.

We are seeking nominations for organizations that are doing amazing things to support women's health. We will select 5 organizations nominated by our community and donate $10,000 to each, $50,000 in total.

Women's health has been under-researched, under-funded, and under-discussed for far too long, especially menopause. This October, Belle is dedicating the entire month to women's health and menopause education. And we want you to help us give back.

  • Open to any organization doing good work for women's health
  • Free to nominate, takes about two minutes
  • Nominations open now through October 1

Why this matters

The gap is real.
So is the fix.

For decades, medicine treated women's health as an afterthought: studied less, funded less, and too often dismissed. Menopause affects every woman who lives long enough to reach it, yet most go through it with little guidance and even less support. We can't fix that alone. But we can do our part.

01

1993

Left out of research

Women weren't required to be included in NIH-funded clinical trials until 1993. We're still catching up on what that left unstudied.

02

1M+

Every single year

Over a million women in the U.S. reach menopause each year, many without a clear plan, a knowledgeable provider, or anyone to ask.

03

34+

Symptoms, not just one

It's not just hot flashes. Sleep, mood, memory, joints, heart and bone health can all shift, and are often missed or misattributed.

04

Few

Trained to help

Only a fraction of clinicians receive formal menopause training, leaving women to piece together answers on their own.

$50K

Our commitment: a month dedicated to women's health and menopause education, plus $10,000 each to five organizations doing the work to close the gap every day. You tell us who they are.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Belle's Women's Health Month initiative.

Still have questions? Visit our help center
Who can submit a nomination?

Anyone! You don't need to be a Belle member to nominate. Patients, friends, family, providers, and community members are all welcome.

When is the nomination deadline?

Nominations close at the end of the day on October 1. Our team reviews every nomination on October 2.

What kind of organizations qualify?

Any organization doing meaningful work for women's health: nonprofits, community groups, clinics, research teams, advocacy groups, and more. You don't need to be a registered nonprofit. We'll simply verify that each organization is legitimate and doing real good for women.

Can I nominate more than one organization?

Yes. Submit a separate nomination for each organization. Nominating the same organization multiple times doesn't guarantee selection. The strength of the story matters most.

How will the five organizations be chosen?

After verifying eligibility, a panel of Belle clinicians and team members will review every nomination, weighing impact, reach, and alignment with closing the gap in women's health.

When will the recipients be announced?

We'll review every nomination on October 2 and announce all five organizations during the first week of October, then celebrate them all month long, sharing their stories and work by email and on our social channels.

Can I nominate an organization I work for?

Yes. Just let us know your connection in your nomination so we can review it transparently.

Why is Belle doing this?

We care for women every day, and we see the gap in women's health up close. This month is about education, awareness, and supporting the people working to change the system, beyond our own walls.
